Evidence
C Small effects at about 10 g a day; capsules hold far less
Studied for
Weight, regularity and gut bacteria

What studies found

Across 32 trials using food-level amounts (a median of 10 g a day), inulin-type fibers gave a small average weight change of about 1 kg. That review was funded by an inulin supplier. A 2025 review found inulin blends didn't help constipation, and inulin is more likely than some fibers to cause gas.

How much is in our products

ProductAmount
GLP-1 Advanced 200 mg per 3-capsule serving
Gut Health 50 mg per 2-capsule serving

In studies: A median of 10 g a day in weight trials; several grams a day in fiber studies.

Both amounts are a small fraction of the roughly 10 g a day used in studies; beans, lentils and oats supply far more.

Who should take care

It can cause gas and bloating, especially in sensitive people. Drink plenty of water. Take other medicines at a different time, because fiber can slow how some are absorbed.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before starting a supplement if you take any medicine, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a health condition.
